1. Who we are

Daplytics ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at daplytics.com, an iGaming streaming analytics service. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

2. What data we collect and why

2a. Cookies and the Meta Pixel (analytics & advertising)

We use the Meta Pixel (a cookie-based tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland). The pixel sends anonymised event data — page views and form interactions — to Meta so we can measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and reach relevant audiences.

Geo-targeted consent: Because GDPR and UK GDPR apply to visitors located in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we detect your likely location using your device's timezone setting. If your timezone is within Europe/* (covering all EEA member states and the UK), a cookie consent banner is shown and the pixel does not activate until you click "Accept". Visitors whose timezone falls outside Europe/* are not subject to GDPR/UK GDPR and have the pixel activated automatically without a consent prompt.

  • Legal basis (EEA/UK visitors): Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) UK GDPR / EU GDPR). You can withdraw at any time by clicking "Decline" in the cookie banner or clearing your browser's localStorage under the key dap_consent.
  • Legal basis (non-EEA/UK visitors): Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR does not apply; processing is permitted under applicable local law).
  • Cookie stored: dap_consent in your browser's localStorage (first-party, session-persistent). No entry is written if you decline or if no banner is shown.
  • Data transferred: When the pixel is active, Meta receives your hashed IP address, browser user-agent, and page URL. Meta may combine this with data it holds independently. See Meta's Data Policy.
  • Meta Advanced Matching / CAPI: Not in use. We do not send email addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers to Meta.

If you are shown the consent banner and decline, no Meta Pixel code executes and no tracking entry is stored.

2b. Contact and enquiry data

When you submit a contact or report-request form on this site, we collect your name, email address, company name (if provided), and the contents of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is stored by our form processor (FormSubmit). We do not use it for marketing without your separate consent.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — responding to a business enquiry initiated by you.

2c. Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamp). These are used for security and uptime monitoring only, are not linked to individual identities, and are retained for no more than 30 days.

3. How long we keep your data

  • Enquiry data: up to 24 months from the date of last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Server logs: up to 30 days.
  • Meta Pixel data: governed by Meta's retention policies (see their Data Policy above).

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the processors listed below, under appropriate data-processing agreements:

  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — advertising pixel (EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses apply for onward transfer to the US).
  • FormSubmit — form delivery service; receives form submissions and forwards them to our email inbox.
  • Replit, Inc. — our cloud hosting provider; processes IP addresses via server logs.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR / EU GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding legal basis to retain it.
  • Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
  • Portability — receive data you provided to us in a machine-readable format.
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent — decline or withdraw cookie consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email team@daplytics.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); in the EU, your national data protection authority.

6. International transfers

When you consent to the Meta Pixel, your data may be transferred to the United States. Meta relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and UK International Data Transfer Agreements) for such transfers. FormSubmit and Replit also process data in the US under Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Children

This site is directed at business professionals in the iGaming industry and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Material changes will be announced via a site notice.
